Originally from New York, I received my bachelor's degree from Dowling College with a duel major in Special and General Education. After graduation, I moved out to the Orlando, Florida area with my family and began teaching at Thornebrooke Elementary School in Ocoee. I taught student's with autism for two years and then became the schools behavior specialist. After serving as Thornebrooke's behavior specialist I became the Autism Program Specialist. Although the roles were similar, I now had the opportunity to work with more teachers, not only with behavior, but with curriculum as well.

Currently, I am completing final course work and getting ready for my internship with Jones International University to obtain my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership. Recently, I have moved out of the Orange County School District area and now work and live in Lake County. I work as a program specialist for the Lake County School District. I absolutely love working with children with autism; they will always hold a very special place in my heart.
